Account Representatives - Collections   Myrtle Beach, SC

What You'll Do

Partner with Capital Vacations Owners to foster a positive relationship and secure payment on outstanding loans and fees while discussing the benefits associated with keeping their account current with Capital Vacations.

  • Provide customer service regarding collection issues, process and review account adjustments, and resolve client discrepancies
  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts-customer calls, account adjustments, etc.
  • Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts
  • Collect past due payments
  • Set up repayment plans
  • Inform clients of overdue accounts and amount currently owed
  • Locate customers utilizing skip tracing
  • Attempt to collect payments
  • Review terms of sale or loan documents
  • Ensure all customer information is correct, including phone numbers and addresses
  • Enlist the efforts of management when necessary to accelerate the collection process
  • Must communicate and follow-up with management effectively regarding customer accounts on a timely basis

Education, Essential Training/Certifications and Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1-3 years Collections experience

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: 

  • Knowledge of Billing and Collections procedures with a complete understanding of FDCPA, FCRA and RESPA
  • Strong attention to detail, goal oriented
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Knowledge and ability to maneuver effectively through Microsoft Office Suite
  • Possess strong systems skills, solid collection, analytical and negotiation skills
