Job Description - Non-Exempt

Reports To: Assistant General Manager/General Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Title: Security Supervisor

Hourly Rate: $22 per hour

Purpose

The Security Supervisor prioritizes and maintains the security and safety of all team members and guests. They will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to attend to after-hours maintenance concerns for guests and projects for the resort. Supervise security staff, create schedule and coach where needed for security tasks and customer service.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities listed may not apply to all locations.
  • Maintains security of all areas of the property
  • Is familiar with all team members.
  • Is familiar with all alarm systems.
  • Maintains and knows emergency procedures and all responding agencies.
  • Completes and files all necessary reports.
  • Maintains log, keeping it up-to-date and accurate.
  • Responds to all emergencies and reports to the General Manager
  • Attends to any immediate needs of the guests after hours, including maintenance and housekeeping requests.
  • Assists with events including weddings and holiday celebrations. This will include but is not limited to the set up and take down of chairs and tables, garbage removal, and crowd control.
  • Works closely with maintenance manager to identify after-hours projects the security team can do and attends to and assigns additional projects to security staff.
  • Maintains knowledge of resorts Rules and Regulations, informs guests and enforces rules where necessary.
  • Always maintains professionalism.
  • Approaches all situations with care and requests backup if the situation is questionable.
  • All other duties as requested.

Job Requirements

Education, Essential Training / Certifications, and Experience:

  • High School diploma/ GED
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have and maintain a good driving record clear of significant violations.
  • Have experience in maintenance or grounds keeping

  • Flexible schedule: weekends and holidays are required.

Shift: Additional hours may be required

  • Regular Hours: 2 PM - 12 AM, 4 days a week
  • Weekends Required
