Opportunity for career advancement in a fast paced, growth-oriented Organization.

We are currently seeking a Bellman to join our team at Bluebeard’s Castle, a timeshare resort in St. Thomas, USVI.

To provide a warm welcome to all guest’s and owner’s, assisting them with their luggage upon arrival and departure. Aid front desk staff.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greets guests and assist them to their rooms with luggage at check in
    • Identifies all safety features enroute to rooms
    • Checks condition of the room, shows features to the guests
    • Explains resort services and facilities to guest
    • Assist guests, upon request, from room with luggage at check out
    • Stores and keeps secure the luggage of any registered guests
    • Distributes guest messages and packages
    • Conducts inventory and re-stocks all pamphlets and literature
    • Performs scheduled runs on time to and from designated locations
    • Maintains operation and cleanliness of resort vehicles
    • Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the bellman area, closet and the main lobby
    • Perform other related duties as requested

General Statement - Performs the job assigned, complying with Company policies and procedures, business code of ethics, FLSA regulations, and all applicable laws, as well as ensuring confidentiality, reliability, quality, and productivity.

Job Requirements

Education, Essential Training / Certifications, and Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Prior guest service experience preferred
  • Class C Commercial or Class B Commercial Driver’s license with Passenger Endorsement and Medical certification

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Excellent customer service
    • Attention for detail
    • Knowledge of area attractions and locations
    • Ability to communicate both verbally and written
    • Flexible schedule, ability to work weekends and holidays
