Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Revenue Analyst to join our Revenue Management team. This role is crucial to driving data-driven decision-making by creating, analyzing, and distributing daily, weekly, and monthly revenue performance reports. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Power BI, Excel, and other reporting tools to visualize and communicate insights effectively. This position plays an essential role in supporting the hotel's revenue strategy and maximizing profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Analysis

Collect and analyze data from various sources, including PMS, CRS, and RMS, to provide accurate and timely revenue reports.

Regularly audit data for accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

Report Creation and Management

Develop, manage, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports for multiple properties.

Design dashboards and visualizations in Power BI to make complex data easy to understand and actionable for all stakeholders.

Ensure reporting tools and processes are streamlined and automated where possible.

Power BI Development and Support

Design and implement, with guidance from the Financial Planning & Analysis team, Power BI dashboards for revenue insights, demand trends, and performance KPIs.

Provide ad hoc reporting and analytics support for special projects and strategic initiatives.

Continuously optimize Power BI dashboards and reports based on user feedback and evolving business needs.

Performance Monitoring and Forecasting Support

Track key revenue metrics, such as ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, and market share, to support revenue management strategies.

Assist in the preparation of forecasting models to predict future demand and optimize pricing.

Collaboration and Communication

Collaborate with the Revenue Management team and other departments to ensure alignment with revenue goals.

Present findings and insights to key stakeholders, translating data into actionable recommendations.

Process Improvement

Continuously review and enhance data collection and reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Proactively identify opportunities to improve reporting tools and streamline processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality, or a related field.

1-3 years of experience in revenue management, data analysis, or a similar role in the hospitality industry.

Knowledge or proficiency in Power BI, including the creation of dashboards, data modeling, and DAX calculations is a plus.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with SQL or other data tools is a plus.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly.

Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
