**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an Activities Lead to organize and oversee recreational activities and programs for our residents. The ideal candidate will be creative, energetic, and passionate about enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in planning and implementing recreational activities, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Knowledge of safety guidelines and regulations related to recreational activities.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement a calendar of engaging activities and events for residents.
- Coordinate with staff, residents, and families to ensure activities meet the diverse needs and interests of our community.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to activities schedules and participation.
- Manage the activities budget and resources efficiently.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of participants during all activities.
- Evaluate the success of activities and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
**Additional Requirements:**
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry supplies or equipment for activities.
- Passion for working with older adults and individuals with diverse needs.
