Accounting Manager   Myrtle Beach, SC

What You'll Do

• Plan, implement and supervise the company’s financial strategy
• Responsible for all aspects of accounting (AP, AR, General Ledger entries, bank reconciliations, cash applications, and payroll)
• Responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial processing, month end close, cash management, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Responsible for cash management including performing wire transfers and ACH payments
• Maintain professional banking relationships
• Assist with the development and preparation of budgets, forecasts, and projections
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, bank reports, and various detailed analysis reports
• Follow proper accounting procedures to reach financial objectives
• Hire, train and manage accountants
• Manage the company’s financial accounts, payrolls, budget, cash receipts and financial assets
• Monitor and analyze financial accounting data.
• Produce Cash Flows
• Assist with the company’s financial audit
• Make recommendations to business stakeholders
• Conversion of Defender Reality and Palmetto Marketing from Quickbooks to Sage 500
• Streamline and ensure consistent application of transactions between CRVM II (SPM) and CVRM III (Defender)
• Maintain files and comply with record retention requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA is a plus.
• CPA or CMA preferred
• Minimum of 5-8 years experience in Accounting
• Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point) and the internet
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
