Capital is seeking an experienced HR Director to spearhead personnel development and ensure all human resources programs and initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned with our overall business and strategic growth objectives.


Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and manage all aspects of talent acquisition throughout the employment lifecycle.
  • Design and implement onboarding policies and procedures.
  • Partner with the Senior Leadership to drive a high-performance culture by coaching, celebrating recognition, and support employee engagement and retention.
  • Establish, develop, and lead HR strategies to create a strong sense of organizational culture that's engaging, where motivated people want to join, learn, do their best, and advance.
  • Coach leaders on leading and managing their teams effectively and provide advice and counsel to managers and supervisors regarding personnel practices, policy, and employment laws.
  • Handle employee relations issues with little to no guidance.
  • Work proactively with managers and leaders to evaluate and prepare for future business and team needs.
  • Create and Manage Learning & Development programs and activities.
  • Facilitate compensation and other total rewards activities.
  • Executes and follows-up on engagement survey related activities.
  • Leads and participates in succession management and workforce planning.
  • Maintain, review, and implement policies to maintain creative, industry-standard approaches to corporate policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Skillsets:

  • Degree educated, preferably business in Management, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or equivalent or experience.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, business management experience, or a combination of both.
  • Professional HR (PHR) or SHRM Certification preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership skills in a dynamic, fast-growing organization.
  • Expertise in interpreting and implementing company policies to ensure consistent application.
  • Broad knowledge of compensation and pay for performance incentives.
  • High attention to detail, resourceful, and highly organized.
  • Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally.
  • Ability to comfortably move between day-to-day HR operations and strategic issues and manage and prioritize multiple issues and projects concurrently.
  • Ability to work in an unstructured environment with minimal supervision to set and achieve goals consistently.
  • Ability to develop trust and confidence among all levels within the organization. Must maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times.
  • Desire to succeed, take initiatives, and further the success of the company, employees, and engagement team members.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to travel on company business (to include training and acquisitions).
