Purpose
The Pool Attendant maintains a safe and clean environment for guests.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsibilities listed may not apply to all locations
- Keeps towels washed and dried
- Washes windows inside and outside of the building
- Keeps bathrooms cleaned and stocked with supplies
- Keeps the Weight Room clean
- Vacuums throughout the building
- Keeps Dry Sauna clean
- Keeps lounge clean and stocked with supplies
- Removes trash throughout the building
- Keeps the office clean
- Cleans the pool and hot tub and keep the water-filled in both
- Cleans deck area and chairs, as well as outside chairs and tables
- Cleans the area outside around the building, such as porches, etc.
- Keeps the grills clean
- Locks all doors and windows at closing time
- Answers phone and greets guests
- Maintains a positive and polite attitude
- Watches over guests using the pool, following all rules and regulations
- All other duties as requested
General Statement - Performs the job assigned, complying with Company policies and procedures, business code of ethics, FLSA regulations, and all applicable laws, as well as ensuring confidentiality, reliability, quality, and productivity.
Job Requirements
Education, Essential Training / Certifications, and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED
- CPR certification preferred
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent swimmer
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in an emergency
- Knowledge of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques
- Ability to multitask
- Knowledge of all policies and procedures
- Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and regulations
- Flexible schedule, ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
Shift: Additional hours may be necessary to assist in covering shifts and meeting business needs–weekends and holidays are a required
