Duties

Responsibilities listed may not apply to all locations
• Report to duty on time and in uniform
• Operating washers and dryers, loading and unloading, cleaning filters as necessary
• Sort linens that are heavily soiled, unable to be cleaned and unsuitable for use to be utilized as cleaning rags, record totals of all soiled linens
• Fold all linens and storing by category in neat stacks
• Report any malfunctions to supervisor
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of storage area at all times
• Record monthly linen inventory
• Advise supervisor of linen shortages, detergent, and categories that need purchasing
• Organize the allocation of linens to each room attendant
• Keep 1st-floor closet stocked
• May assist with housekeeping duties as follows:
• Clean guest rooms, lobby, and corridors
• Clean service and vending areas
• Collect trash throughout the property
• Clean restrooms generally and replenish supplies
• Assist team members as needed, ability to help cover shifts and clean rooms when needed
• Perform outdoor maintenance work as directed
• Participate in special cleaning projects as directed
• All other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

Prior laundry or housekeeping experience a plus
• High energy with a passion for housekeeping cleanliness
Attention to detail
• Must have a flexible schedule and be available weekends and holidays
• Ability to Multi-Task and handle the cleaning of units at a fast pace with accuracy promptly
• Strive to improve the quality of work
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to maintain professional conduct at all times
