**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Snow Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The Snow Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of snow removal equipment to ensure they operate efficiently.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training is a plus
- Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with expertise in snow removal equipment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to diagnose and repair technical issues accurately and efficiently
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

**Responsibilities:**
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair snow removal equipment such as snow plows, snow blowers, and salt spreaders
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment functions properly during snow removal operations
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors

**Additional Requirements:**
- Certification in equipment maintenance or related field is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends during snow events
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
